This project is for the purposes of the management of the database building and the policy implementation. The program has been operated for the follows: 1. According to the inspection results of all the 468 monitoring wells, 23 monitoring wells were maintained, and 12 monitoring wells were repaired. 2. The 46 well conditions of the monitoring wells were evaluated and the internal function have been checked., and according to the results of the well conditions, 24 regional or field-based monitoring wells were re-completed and 5 monitoring wells were excluded foreign materials. One monitoring well has been sealed. 3. 2 pollution sites improvement completion verification have been operated. The chemical analysis of one site showed that the concentration of 8 heavy metals in soil was higher than the Groundwater Pollution Control Standards. And the other showed that the concentration of 8 heavy metals in soil was higher than the Groundwater Pollution Monitoring Standards. 4. The soil and groundwater from 3 factories were sampling. The results showed that the concentration of 8 heavy metals in soil was lower than the Groundwater Pollution Control Standards in one of those factories. And one of them he concentration of 8 heavy metals in soil was higher than the Groundwater Pollution Control Standards. And one of them he concentration of 8 heavy metals in soil was higher than the Groundwater Pollution Monitoring Standards. 5. Totally 134 factories inspection have been checked. 6. Totally 2 factories filtered by the pollution potential have been operated by soil and groundwater sampling. The results showed that the concentration in soil or groundwater were lower than the Groundwater Pollution Control Standards. 7. The "Gas Station Regulations Propaganda and Declaration Practice Briefing", and the "Analysis and Reporting Practices for the Article 8th and 9th Regulations on Soil and Groundwater Pollution Remediation Law" were held. 10 "School Storytelling Activities" activities were completed. 8. Totally 27 of the soil pollution assessment survey and inspection data review work announced in Articles 8 and 9 of the Soil and Groundwater Pollution Remediation Law have been carried out in this year. 9. 25 gas stations on-site inspection have been completed, and their soil gas monitoring well have been checked. Two gas stations were listed as the pollution B2 level III according to EPA’s gas station pollution potential category.
